Kleinfelder is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead a staff performing geotechnical investigations, design, and field activities for infrastructure projects. Location is flexible in the Southeast; the role requires strong leadership, client relations, and project oversight.

Ideal candidates will manage scopes, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality geotechnical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or geology is required.
• Master's degree in geotechnical engineering or related field is a plus.
• Professional licensure (PE/PG) or engineer-in-training is preferred.
• Experience leading geotechnical project teams and client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and safety focus.

Responsabilités

• Lead geotechnical investigations, design review, and field activities.
• Manage a portfolio of projects for safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Develop business pursuits and strengthen client relationships.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to understand needs.
• Mentor junior staff and guide project teams through performance.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Geological, or Mining) or Geology

Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field

EIT/GIT license; PE or PG license preferred

Strong leadership and team mentoring

Excellent written and verbal communication
