Job summary

Supplied Talent seeks a Project Manager to lead specialty geotechnical projects in deep foundations, shoring, earth retention, and ground improvement in the Kent, WA area.

The role oversees estimates, budgets, schedules, and coordination with field crews, subcontractors, and engineers, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with a focus on field accountability.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of construction experience, including several years as a Project Manager or in a similar role
  • Background in heavy civil, geotechnical, foundation, or specialty construction
  • Hands-on experience with deep foundations, earth retention, drilling, shoring, or ground improvement
  • Strong command of estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedule, quality, budget, and safety goals

Responsibilities

  • Lead geotechnical projects from estimating and preconstruction through field execution and closeout
  • Prepare and review estimates, proposals, bids, and scopes of work
  • Build and manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost reports
  • Coordinate daily activities with superintendents and field teams
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, change orders, and material costs
  • Solve problems tied to site conditions, design changes, scheduling, and field operations
  • Partner with engineers and internal teams on design-build work
  • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications
  • Lead internal project meetings and client-facing discussions
  • Support jobsite safety alongside field and safety teams
  • Share lessons learned to improve execution across project teams

Job description

Our client, an established geotechnical construction contractor with a strong reputation for technically complex work, is looking for a Project Manager to lead specialty projects in deep foundations, shoring, earth retention, ground improvement, grouting, drilling, and dewatering.

This is a true ownership role. You will run your projects from the first estimate through closeout, working side by side with superintendents, field crews, engineers, subcontractors, and clients. If you like being close to the field and accountable for the outcome, this role fits.

What You Will Do
  • Lead geotechnical projects from estimating and preconstruction through field execution and closeout

What You Bring
  • 5 to 10+ years of construction experience, including several years as a Project Manager or in a similar role
  • Background in heavy civil, geotechnical, foundation, or specialty construction
  • Hands-on experience with deep foundations, earth retention, drilling, shoring, or ground improvement
  • Strong command of estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting schedule, quality, budget, and safety goals
  • Clear, direct communication with crews, superintendents, clients, and engineers
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
  • Design-build experience on shoring, foundations, or specialty geotechnical work
  • Union construction experience and skilled craft labor coordination
  • Public and private sector project experience
  • Experience on tight-access, urban, or technically complex jobsites
Compensation and Benefits
  • $100,000 to $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
