Zusammenfassung

GEI Consultants, Inc. seeks a mid-level geotechnical engineer to join our West Region Geotechnical Engineering Group, supporting dams, levees, and hydropower projects. The role blends fieldwork with design, analysis, and report writing while collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will lead scopes of work, budgets, and client presentations, travel for short-term assignments, and help grow our geotechnical practice in Oregon, California, and beyond within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of geotechnical engineering experience with project management, budgeting support, and knowledge of state/federal regulations.
• Willingness to travel on short-term assignments as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and PE license required.
• Field tasks and oversight experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead geotechnical projects and tasks for dams, levees, and hydropower facilities; instrumentation; investigations and design for major water infrastructure.
• Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and RFPs; produce technical reports.
• Provide leadership in proposal teams and client presentations.
• Lead multi-disciplinary, multi-geographic project teams.
• Maintain client visibility through regular contact and industry events.
• Manage projects and staff; assist in recruiting and training.
