Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. seeks a mid-level geotechnical engineer to join the West Region Geotechnical Engineering Group. You will lead and support projects on dams, levees, hydropower, and related infrastructure, with opportunities across institutional, residential, commercial, and waterfront developments.

This hybrid role includes client engagement, budgeting, and staff mentoring, with travel to field sites. A BS in civil/geotechnical engineering and a PE license are required, plus 3+ years of

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; PE preferred.
3+ years of geotechnical engineering experience with project management.
Willingness to travel on short-term assignments.
Ability to perform field tasks and oversight.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Project manager and technical lead for geotechnical projects (dams, levees, hydropower) and related infrastructure.
Prepare scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and technical reports.
Lead proposal teams and client presentations.
Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and staff.
