Langan is seeking a.Project Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to join our collaborative team in Austin, Texas. This role provides geotechnical engineering expertise, supports project management, supervises staff engineers, and interfaces with clients for both small and large projects.

You will partner cross-functionally on diverse geotechnical assignments, contributing to analysis, design, and project leadership within a dynamic engineering environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Master’s degree with Geotechnical emphasis preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• 6+ years geotechnical experience.
• 3+ years field experience with geotechnical investigations and foundation construction.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, proposals, and client relations.
• Strong knowledge of codes/regulatory requirements and geotechnical reporting.

Mansioni

• Perform complex analyses, structural design of pile elements and underpinning systems, and special engineering inspections;
• Prepare technical documents and manage the preparation of the proposals, reports, construction documents, and construction‑related correspondence associated with the projects managed;
• Supervise field investigations, conventional earthwork, and foundation construction activities;
• Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
• Plan, schedule, develop task, and project budgets. Prepare progress reports, draft change orders, draft invoices, and project billings; and
• Perform other duties as requested.
