Langan is seeking a Project Surveyor/Project Manager to join our Austin, Texas team. You will lead and coordinate land surveying projects, merging technical surveying with practical judgment to deliver accurate maps and geospatial deliverables for clients.

You will oversee field crews, manage project budgets and schedules, prepare proposals and invoices, and collaborate with engineering staff to ensure quality and timely project completion. Travel to field sites may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of survey experience in both field and office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software; excellent computer skills.
• State Survey license or ability to obtain license.
• Experience with proposals, job estimates, and budgets.
• Ability to manage multiple staff to meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.

Aufgaben

• Assist discipline leadership with planning, implementation and production of deliverables for land surveying projects.
• Oversee and manage staff for project assignments; supervise field work.
• Coordinate and modify field scope, survey data, data reduction, and final deliverables.
• Prepare drafting/CAD files, survey maps, descriptions, and reports.
• Plan schedules, develop tasks and budgets; prepare progress reports and change orders.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and deadlines; assist in invoicing and collections.
• Assist with field data collection using surveying equipment and software.
• Support office tasks such as CAD drafting and map research.
