S&ME, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer‑Project Manager to join our Energy team in Greenville, SC.

This role blends engineering expertise with field presence and client interaction to deliver geotechnical and construction projects from exploration to construction support. You will guide technical analyses, oversee site visits, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or a related engineering field.
• PE license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical, construction, and inspection projects within scope and budget.
• Evaluate field and lab data for foundation, slope, and settlement analyses.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure plan compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for updates and issue resolution.
• Prepare detailed reports and mentor junior staff using tracking systems.
