Job summary

S&ME's Greenville-Spartanburg Energy team seeks a motivated Project Engineer-Project Manager to lead geotechnical, geostructural, and construction projects from subsurface exploration through construction support.

You will serve as a trusted technical resource for Energy clients, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with design standards and IBC, while mentoring junior staff and strengthening client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional geotechnical/geostructural/construction experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain.
• Strong math and English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of geotechnical, construction, and inspection projects.
• Evaluate field and laboratory data for foundations, slope stability, and settlement.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing updates.
• Prepare reports and mentor junior staff using Metafield to track observations.
