Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in planning and delivering Transportation Projects. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on various design delivery types. While fully remote candidates are considered, a hybrid setup in Virginia is preferred.

This position demands 8+ years of transportation design experience alongside proficiency in OpenRoads Designer. You will lead technical designs, collaborate with diverse teams, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) + years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in VA or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support technical design on alternative delivery transportation projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop design solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development.
