Haley & Aldrich in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Manager, Geotechnical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on delivering safe, compliant geotechnical solutions for clients while mentoring staff and managing budgets.

You will oversee proposals, planning, scheduling, cost control, and coordination with field teams, regulators, and clients, ensuring high-quality technical deliverables and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of related experience with seismic, foundation design, support of excavation, and slope stability projects.
• Professional registration in the State of WA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
• Proficient with MS Office 365 and geotechnical software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
• Ensure projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
• Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, and financial management.
• Demonstrate technical competence and knowledge of codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with the project team and field teams to ensure safe practices.
• Communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Plan and manage complex field investigation programs for geotechnical projects.
• Lead project technical assessments, design efforts, and procurement support.
