Job summary

Kleinfelder's Southern California Geotechnical team is seeking Project Geotechnical Engineers or Engineering Geologists to join our Laguna Hills or Los Angeles offices. You will work on field and office tasks, develop scopes, perform analyses, and support complex projects across commercial, municipal, transportation, energy, and water sectors.

Candidates should have 6–10 years of related experience (or 4 with a Master's, or 2 with a PhD), a PE or PG license, strong communication, and the ability

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of related experience or 4 years with a Master's or 2 years with PhD.
• Licensed PE or PG.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis.
• Safely conduct field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support under supervision.
• Coordinate tasks and small projects with guidance from senior staff.
• Prepare designs, reports and calculations on complex projects for review.
