Job summary

S&ME is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to deliver projects from investigation through final design, evaluating subsurface conditions, interpreting data, and developing practical solutions for commercial and public infrastructure.

Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients; lead subsurface exploration, report writing, and design support. The role offers growth, training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining, or related field.
• 4+ years geotechnical engineering experience, preferably with project management responsibilities.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical projects from initial investigation to final design and project completion.
• Interpret soil, rock, and groundwater data to develop engineering recommendations.
• Produce geotechnical reports, analyses, and design conclusions for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project managers, field teams, laboratories, subcontractors, and clients.
