S&ME is seeking a driven Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical Services team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You will coordinate field data collection, evaluate samples, and prepare reports under a licensed engineer's guidance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in geotechnical or geological projects.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) required.
• Professional Engineer/Geologist (PE/PG) or on track to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field data collection and oversee field assignments.
• Evaluate samples and assist with data analysis.
• Prepare geotechnical reports under guidance.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Proficiency in Microsoft Word

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

Familiarity with gINT or OpenGround

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
