You will work alongside licensed engineers and geologists, gaining hands-on field and office experience across subsurface exploration, data analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering or related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification with goal to pursue PE.
• Strong interest in geotechnical fieldwork and analysis.
• Basic college-level technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Field investigations & exploration: soil borings, drilling oversight, sampling, and site exploration.
• Data analysis and technical support for subsurface conditions and laboratory programs.
• Prepare data tables, figures and reports; ensure regulatory compliance and clear communication.
• Construction and environmental inspections; document site conditions and project adherence.
• Coordinate with drilling contractors, laboratories, vendors and project team; effective client communication.
