Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Geotechnical professional to provide technical leadership and support to Geotechnical staff across branches and regions. The role includes mentoring Associate Principals and participating in the Associate Principal review process (Geotechnical).

Responsibilities also cover overseeing office and regional projects, reviewing technical reports, preparing proposals, and assisting with department management and P&L.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is required in each of the state(s) in which you work.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support Geotechnical staff within a branch and region.
• Host or attend project meetings with clients to provide technical solutions.
• Mentor Associate Principals.
• Participate in the review committee for Associate Principal designation (Geotechnical).
• Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews.
• Prepare and review proposals; assist with department management and P&L.
• Support business development and client interactions; assist staff in marketing services.
• Assist hiring managers with staffing decisions.
• Lead and coach junior staff; may perform tasks in CMT.
