Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama.
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and soils.
• Ability to travel throughout Alabama.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects, resources, and staff with technical leadership.
• Lead investigations, analyses, and design for infrastructure and buildings.
• Direct subsurface explorations and data evaluation.
• Oversee foundation design, earthwork, slope stability, and seepage assessments.
• Provide geotechnical oversight during construction activities.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators, and project teams.
• Travel across Alabama to support projects.
