Whitestone Associates, Inc. offers a summer internship running May/June through August with flexible hours based on project needs.

You will participate in geotechnical site research, field testing and inspection, soil laboratory testing and coordination, and assistance with soil boring and test pit investigations on-site. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree and may have completed a Soils Laboratory course.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical site research
• Field construction phase testing and inspection
• Soil laboratory testing and coordination
• Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory
• Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations
