Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a geotechnical and environmental consulting firm offering a summer internship from May/June through August with flexible hours based on project needs.

The intern will participate in geotechnical site research, field testing and inspection, soil laboratory coordination, and soil boring investigations under guidance, with compensation higher than base expectations depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical site research.
• Field construction phase testing and inspection.
• Soil laboratory testing and coordination.
• Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory.
• Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations.
