Job summary

You will work with geotechnical engineers and technicians on projects across South Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware, gaining practical, hands-on experience and contributing to project documentation and site assessments.

Qualifications

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• Interest in geotechnical engineering and field investigations.
• Familiarity with geotechnical concepts, soil mechanics, and lab testing.
• Experience or exposure to GIS software (ArcGIS).
• Ability to travel to project sites across South Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subsurface exploration programs alongside field staff.
• Support soil logging, boring, pit explorations, and infiltration testing for stormwater projects.
• Help prepare site descriptions, development summaries, and observations for reports.
• Process and organize field data for engineering evaluation.
• Use Geosystems to generate logs and ArcGIS for site plans.
