Job summary

The role requires extensive outdoor fieldwork, the ability to travel for extended periods, including overnights and weekends, and collaboration with geologists and engineers on diverse client assignments.

The ideal candidate will perform soil/material testing, assist in data collection, and contribute to report preparation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years field experience.
• Experience in construction environmental disciplines preferred.
• Awareness of field activities compliance with plans.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs; travel required.
• Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and on-site tests on soil and materials.
• Monitor contractor activities for compliance.
• Provide CQA observation on enviro-construction sites.
• Perform multi-media sampling for investigations.
• Prepare daily/weekly field and progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation per policy.
• Communicate with project personnel and clients.
• Assist in final data packages and safety docs.
• Follow site health and safety plans.
• Support other service areas as needed.
• Drive company vehicles to sites.
