Job summary

American Engineering Testing Inc is seeking a Field Engineer for North Dakota. The role supports engineers in the field, performs laboratory testing, and conducts field observation of construction materials to ensure accurate data collection and reliable project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil/Geological engineering background, EIT status with PE pursuit, and a willingness to travel regionally for site work. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geological or related engineering field.
• EIT with ability to pursue PE registration.
• Internship or prior work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Field and laboratory work including geotechnical testing.
• Prepare reports of field and laboratory work.
• Assist in training less experienced personnel.
• Log and classify soil samples in lab or field, as needed.
• Communicate with clients to determine project needs.
