Job summary

American Engineering Testing Inc in Williston, North Dakota, is seeking a Field Engineer to support engineers and technicians in the field, perform laboratory testing, and observe construction materials to ensure data accuracy and reliable project outcomes. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience, a civil/geological engineering background, and an EIT with potential for PE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geology, or a related engineering field.
• 0–3 years of experience in an engineering or science field.
• EIT and ability to achieve professional registration (PE).
• Internship or previous work experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field testing according to QA procedures.
• Perform soil boring layout/documentation and surveying.
• Assist in training of less experienced personnel in routine field work.
• Prepare reports of field and laboratory work.
• Coordinate with clients to determine project needs.
• Assist with geotechnical investigations including field drilling and laboratory testing.
