Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus; advanced degree a plus
• 15+ years of Engineer experience in a corporate environment
• Professional engineering license in North Carolina, or ability to become licensed within six months
• Advanced proficiency with geotechnical engineering principles and design
• Proficiency with technical writing, design software, and related tools

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CGEM team and oversight of projects across multiple markets
• Lead project budgets and schedules, ensuring financial performance and technical quality
• Mentor staff and provide performance guidance to team members
• Interface with clients to develop business opportunities and partnerships
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations and QA/QC standards
