Job summary
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our National Water Management and Water South teams in the United States. You will perform geotechnical analyses for levees, dams, floodwalls, and other hydraulic structures, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept through construction.
You will mentor junior staff and coordinate field investigations, with opportunities to expand client-facing responsibilities and grow your leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering.
- 8+ years of geotechnical experience with hydraulic structures.
- EIT/PE certification preferred or required.
- Experience in dam/levee projects and field investigations.
Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical analyses for levees, dams, floodwalls, and other hydraulic structures.
- Prepare geotechnical recommendations for designs, drawings, specs, and reports.
- Plan and coordinate geotechnical field investigations and testing programs.
- Mentor entry-level engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate design/bid packages for permitting, construction, and inspection services.
