Qualifications
- Bachelors in civil, structural or geotechnical engineering required; masters preferred.
- PE license in NJ/NY/MA or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- NCTI Certification preferred.
- 5-8 years' experience in engineering consultancy.
- Proficient in STRAND7, SAP, STAAD; geotechnical software like Plaxis/GeoStudio.
Responsibilities
- Support geotechnical projects in the US and Canada.
- Oversee staff and field investigations for design data.
- Contribute to analyses for tunnels and underground structures.
- Develop field instrumentation programs and evaluate data.
- Manage staff delivering design solutions, reports, and drawings.
- Write reports and technical memoranda for clients.
- Engage with clients and participate in design/progress meetings.
- Contribute to proposals and lead design programs with teams.
