Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Geotechnical/Section Geotechnical Engineer to support the Plymouth redevelopment project with a focus on technical compliance to design specifications and safe delivery. Must meet BPSS clearance requirements and NATO/MISWG passport eligibility, with UK residency in the last 5 years.

The role emphasizes communication with the Geotechnical team, HSQE documentation, and strong client and supplier engagement to uphold high safety and quality standards on

Qualifications

• Experience delivering geotechnical works and supervision of project teams.
• Competence in documentation writing and clear written/verbal communication at all levels.
• Preferred: RoGEP, CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, PTS

Responsibilities

• Maintain open lines of communication with the Geotechnical team regarding project progress and developments.
• Writing and maintaining HSQE documentation.
• Supervision and management of safe, efficient delivery of geotechnical works to a high standard.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Client, supply chain and third parties.
• Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards with safe systems of work on site.
• Accurate record keeping for site activities and short-term resource forecasting.
• Relate project goals to the team to boost engagement with the business.
