Accura Engineering in Knoxville, TN seeks a Geotechnical Civil Engineer to assist in preparing plans, analyses, and reports. You will perform basic calculations and support drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with site visits and data collection as required.

Active GDOT project experience is valued. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a Georgia PE license, plus 3–5 years of geotechnical work; microstation/HEC-RAS exposure is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of GDOT project experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under guidance of senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
