Job summary

Accura Engineering in Georgia seeks a Civil Engineer with geotechnical focus to support plans, calculations, and client coordination. The role involves fieldwork, design drafting, and project delivery under senior engineers.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 3–5 years GDOT experience, and a Georgia PE license. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is expected; familiarity with MicroStation and HEC-RAS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of geotechnical experience.
• Georgia PE license required.
• GDOT project experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering plans, specs, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses.
• Support design and drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
