Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Engineer I to join our Atlanta team, supporting plan preparation, analyses, and reports under guidance from senior staff.

You'll perform site visits, assist with permitting, and contribute to client coordination while developing AutoCAD Civil 3D drafts and MS Office documentation. Growth and EIT advancement are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 1-5 years of geotechnical engineering or related experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering plans, specs, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations under supervision.
• Support design and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and client coordination.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with teams.
• Support project managers with budgeting and scheduling tasks.
