Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer II to join our project-driven team. You will assist in preparing plans, perform calculations, and support design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 3–5 years geotechnical experience and a Georgia PE license. Candidates with GDOT project exposure and familiarity with MicroStation/HEC-RAS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Georgia PE license required.
• GDOT project experience 3–5 years.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Internship or co-op in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing plans, specs, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations under senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits and data collection.
• Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with teams.
• Support project managers with budgeting and scheduling.
