Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Geotechnical Engineer in Holland, MI. You will contribute to geotechnical and civil design work across solid waste, infrastructure, and transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 0–1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with design and construction processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist data collection and analysis from sites, surveys, GIS data, and other sources for project development and design.
• Maintain quality control standards for measurements and deliverables.
• Perform basic geotechnical and civil engineering tasks related to site conditions and earthworks.
• Support routine engineering functions and provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements.
• Prepare documentation and reports using electronic systems and field notes.
