Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer at an early to mid-career level. You will assist in preparing plans, specifications, and reports, perform basic calculations, and support field data collection.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2-3 years geotechnical experience, and an EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is expected; internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of geotechnical experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Internship or co-op in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
