Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• EIT certification preferred or obtainable within a reasonable timeframe.
• Familiarity with geotechnical concepts, lab and field testing methods, and soil/rock behavior.
• Experience with geotechnical software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or LPILE is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist geotechnical site investigations and collect soil/rock data.
• Support evaluation of subsurface conditions under supervision of senior engineers.
• Prepare technical reports, figures, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review plans, specs, and data to inform geotechnical assessments.
• Participate in field and lab testing to ensure data quality.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors for field work and procurement.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Learn geotechnical software for analysis and reporting.
