Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to manage and execute geotechnical projects from planning through completion. You will develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and lead analyses, risk assessments, and staff collaboration to deliver high‑quality results.

The role requires 3+ years in geotechnical engineering, a PE license (preferred), and strong communication with clients and team members. Occasional field travel and strict safety compliance are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 3+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• PM experience and ability to manage mid-to-large scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects comply with standards, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead geotechnical analyses, risk assessments, and hazard evaluations for infrastructure and construction projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver high‑quality results.
• Mentor junior engineers and field staff to build technical capabilities.
• Travel to project sites as needed to conduct inspections and provide engineering support.
• Promote safety compliance with OSHA and environmental requirements.
