Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Geotechnical Engineer I to join our team. You will assist in preparing engineering plans, reports, and site data under senior engineers, and help coordinate with clients and agencies during permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to relevant software such as MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred
