Hatch Geotechnical Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA will deliver analyses and designs for hydropower and dam projects, including embankment dams. The role requires coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting site investigations and construction activities.

We seek a PE with 10–15 years of geotechnical experience, strong technical writing, and the ability to travel within the US and internationally for short-term assignments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical specialization.
• Licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a US PE.
• 10–15 years of post-graduation geotechnical experience.
• Experience in hydropower and dam projects including embankment dams.
• Site investigations, soil characterization, seismic and liquefaction analyses.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver geotechnical analyses and designs for hydropower, dams and related infrastructure.
• Assess embankment dams, slope stability, seepage and internal erosion.
• Support site investigations and construction activities.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications.
• Review technical documents and mentor junior staff.
• Develop client relationships and identify US market opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary team collaboration and project delivery.
