Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support design teams on a variety of projects in the Atlanta area. You will assist in preparing plans, specifications, and reports, and perform basic analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.

The role involves site visits, data collection, and coordination with clients and agencies, with opportunities for professional development and growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Internship or co-op preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, stormwater tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
