Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Engineer in Atlanta, GA to assist in preparing plans, specifications, and reports, and to perform engineering calculations under senior guidance using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

You will conduct site visits, collect data, support permitting and coordination with agencies, and participate in design reviews with a collaborative team, with strong growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks.
