Shannon & Wilson invites an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Utah team. You will perform geotechnical analyses, prepare reports, and assist with field explorations and lab testing under supervision.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and MS or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering.
• 0-6 years of Geotechnical experience.
• Engineer-in-Training certificate in progress or obtained.
• On track to PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations.
• Prepare and write engineering reports.
• Conduct field explorations and sampling.
• Assist construction observation and documentation.
• Perform geotechnical lab testing and communicate results.
• Interact with clients, vendors and staff.
• Support marketing with cost proposals.
• Follow QA and Health & Safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
