Braun Intertec in Fargo, ND is seeking a Geotechnical Drilling Assistant to support our drilling team on subsurface investigations for geotechnical and environmental projects. You will assist the Crew Chief, collect field samples, log data, and help ensure safe, efficient operations in a variety of terrains and weather conditions.

The role requires strong technical and mechanical aptitude, good communication, and flexibility for travel up to 100% (Mondays to Fridays with occasional weekend

Formación

• Prior geotechnical drilling experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work in varying weather/terrain.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the Crew Chief in all aspects of drilling operation.
• Assists in the collection of field samples and data.
• Returns field samples and data organized for the Project Manager.
• Responsible for maintaining tooling, equipment, and vehicles.
• Assists with troubleshooting mechanical problems and repairs.
• Use PPE and promote safe work practices.
• Complete required paperwork and training in a timely manner.
• Operate vehicles safely and maintain compliance paperwork.
