Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a geotechnical drilling assistant to join our Dallas, TX office. The role supports subsurface investigations by collecting soil, rock, groundwater samples, and logging field data.

You will assist the Crew Chief and gain experience to perform duties of a Crew Chief. Responsibilities include assisting in drilling operations, sampling, equipment maintenance, and completing required paperwork while adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant training is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities; capable of field repairs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief with drilling operations and field sampling.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition.
• Complete paperwork and training in a timely manner.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures; work outdoors in varied weather.
