Job summary

Certerra Sub- Surface- Enviro-Drill in Houston, TX is hiring a Geotechnical Driller Helper to assist our drilling crew with soil sampling and subsurface exploration projects. This entry-level role suits outdoor workers who can travel to job sites across Texas and neighboring states.

You will support daily drilling operations, help label samples, maintain equipment, and follow safety policies. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, physical stamina, and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller with daily drilling operations.
• Support soil and rock sample collection and proper labeling.
• Maintain and clean drilling equipment and jobsite areas.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.
• Travel to various job sites (local and out of town).
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
