Job summary

Seaboard Drilling, LLC in Bangor, Maine is seeking a Driller to operate a geotechnical and environmental test boring rig and haul equipment. The role includes soil boring, sampling, rock coring, measuring water levels, and installing monitoring wells at sites around New England.

Travel to short-term sites with possible overnight stays and maintain rigs and trucks. Requires a valid Class A CDL and comfort working outdoors in all seasons.

Qualifications

• Requires a current Class A CDL license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating a test boring rig or similar heavy equipment is required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 100 pounds and work outdoors in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Operate geotechnical and environmental test boring rig at Bangor, ME.
• Drive truck and trailer to haul rig and equipment.
• Perform soil boring, sampling, rock coring, and water level measurements.
• Install monitoring wells and instrumentation; basic maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Travel to short-term sites throughout New England with possible overnight stays.
