ECS Group in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a field drilling technician to perform standard penetrometer tests, borings and data collection with Geoprobe equipment. You will locate borings, record data and work with a supervisor to meet daily productivity goals.

The role includes equipment maintenance, safety compliance, completing field paperwork, mentoring a Drilling Helper, and occasional out-of-town or non-standard hours.

Formación

• 2–4 years of related drilling experience.
• CDL Class A license preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform penetrometer testing operations including borings and geoprobes.
• Operate Geoprobe unit for soil and CPT data collection.
• Locate borings in the field and record drilling data.
• Report project issues to the project manager or supervisor.
• Maintain drill rig and support truck and report maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic problems.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for crew.
• Load drill rig and equipment daily with supplies needed.
• Plan daily schedules to meet supervisor/office goals.
• Complete time sheets and field paperwork accurately.
• Care for and clean vehicles and drilling equipment.
• Maintain professional behavior and quality standards.
• Train and mentor Drilling Helper.
• Willingness to work out of town and non-standard hours when required.
