Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an experienced field driller/technician in the geotechnical drilling sector. Responsibilities include Penetrometer testing, Geoprobe data collection, and hands-on drilling operations in challenging field environments.

Candidate must perform fuel, mechanical, and safety tasks, maintain equipment, and support project teams. Travel may be required; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in field drilling operations.
• Willingness to travel/out-of-town as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including boring and Geoprobes.
• Operating Geoprobe unit for soil and Cone Penetrometer (CPT) data collection.
• Complete drilling operations by operating drill (rotary, churn, pneumatic) and monitor progress.
