Job summary

Terracon is seeking an Exploration Team Member to perform subsurface exploration using various drilling methods and in-situ testing techniques. You will assist in installing monitoring wells, conducting surveys, and maintaining drilling equipment on projects across the region.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 3 years' drilling experience, and a valid driver's license. You will work in a multi-person team with a strong emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in geotechnical or environmental drilling.
• Proficiency in multiple drilling methods common to the region.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate geotechnical drill rigs to advance boreholes to required depths in the region.
• Oversee a 2–3 person drill crew and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Install instrumentation and monitoring wells and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct site reconnaissance, survey drilling points, and prepare field/work logs.
