Job summary

Terracon is seeking Exploration Team Members (ETMs) in Tampa, Florida, who are responsible for subsurface exploration through various drilling methods and in-situ testing techniques. ETMs will collaborate in a team setting, conduct daily tasks such as surveying and loading equipment, and classify soil and rock samples.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a geotechnical drill rig to advance shallow boreholes in soil.
• Oversee a 2-man drill crew in all tasks associated with drilling operations.
• Install instrumentation and monitoring wells.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance.
• Drive all forms of drilling equipment to and from project locations.
• Work to independently inspect and complete routine maintenance of equipment.
