Zusammenfassung

Terracon is seeking Exploration Team Members (ETMs) to perform subsurface exploration using drilling and in-situ testing techniques. Responsibilities include operating drill rigs, installing instrumentation, surveying, and maintaining safety and quality on projects in Oregon.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 5 years of geotechnical or environmental drilling experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical and/or environmental drilling.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within first 30 days of employment.
• Licensure as a driller/well installer may be required in some states.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities with guidance from management or senior ETMs.
• Operate geotechnical drill rigs to advance boreholes to required depths.
• Lead a 2–3 person drill crew and support their development.
• Be proficient in drilling methods common to the region.
• Install instrumentation and monitoring wells.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct surveying, site reconnaissance, and utility clearance tasks.
• Drive drilling equipment between project sites.
• Ensure quality and safety standards on all projects.
• Participate in pre-task planning and safety reviews.
• Train junior staff in drilling methods.
