Job summary

Legacy Engineering, a woman-owned civil engineering firm headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Geotechnical/CMT Project Engineer. You will lead field investigations, develop geotechnical design recommendations, and prepare reports and cost estimates for a range of projects from residential to commercial. Qualifications include 5+ years in geotechnical engineering and CMT, a B.S.

in Civil Engineering, and an EIT; a P.E. is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering and CMT projects.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited university.
• EIT, required.
• P.E., preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field investigations and geotechnical design recommendations.
• Prepare geotechnical reports and cost estimates for projects.
• Manage project plans and schedules for residential to commercial work.
• Coordinate with staff and clients to deliver reports and solutions.
