The role involves leading a team of geotechnical professionals, coordinating with multiple HDR groups, and driving innovative design solutions for transportation and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a PE license (AZ/NM within 6 months), 10+ years of experience, and strong expertise in field and laboratory investigations, soil mechanics, and geotechnical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive geotechnical experience in design and leadership.
• Proven ability to lead geotechnical investigations and analyses for varied projects.
• Proficient with geotechnical software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and improve technical competencies of Geotechnical staff.
• Select, train, mentor and manage geotechnical personnel.
• Promote geotechnical practice and establish partnerships to advance concepts and mitigate risks.
• Contribute to HDR's geotechnical practice groups and project teams.
• Lead project pursuits and assist with marketing plans and proposals.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership to align geotechnical strategies.
